Evidence-based strategies work.
Implementing them is hard.
We help them stick.

When strategies stick, students thrive.

The implementation challenge.

Your strategic plan lists your priorities:
personalized learning, SEL, culturally responsive teaching, the science of reading, and so much more.

All evidence-based strategies; all proven to work.
So, why aren't they happening consistently?

Because implementing them requires time, capacity, and support that most districts don't have.

Throughline Learning helps districts bridge the gap between strategic priorities and classroom practice to improve instruction, build capacity, drive impact, and scale change.

We build a throughline connecting your strategic vision to daily practice.

We support your strategic priorities:

Starting with the frameworks you're already committed to (culturally responsive teaching, trauma-informed instruction, high-quality curriculum materials, tutoring, support for multilingual learners and students with disabilities, and more) we help you scale the practices that make a difference.

We increase fidelity of implementation:

We’ve seen that the more educators implementing evidence-based instructional strategies means more students are learning and thriving. We measure fidelity of implementation to help generate meaningful outcomes for your students.

We build coherence across your entire system:

We support your team to deepen instructional practice and align to your district priorities through whole-staff workshops, learning communities, classroom coaching, leadership support, and specialized professional development that support all staff.

We leverage modern tools to scale best practice.

In order to make a difference for students, the question isn't "Does AI work?"
It's "Does AI help us do more of what works?"

What if AI helped:

  • More classrooms apply the science of reading
  • More educators use culturally responsive instruction
  • More teachers implement high-quality curriculum with fidelity
  • More schools deliver high-dosage tutoring
  • More students benefit from what we know works

We use AI to help you:

  • Identify which evidence-based practices can be amplified
  • Co-design custom tools that save teacher time and extend coaching capacity
  • Measure whether strategies are happening more often for more students

The AI Opportunity

Since the emergence of this new wave of technological opportunity, we’ve been co-designing AI tools with systems leaders and educators, bringing evidence based strategies, practices and programs to life for more students in more classrooms.

We use AI to get more teachers to go deeper with implementation of your evidence-based practices, so more students benefit. Our AI implementation model saves teachers time and energy by adding coaching capacity and reinforcing the limited professional development educators receive.

For example: If we start with engaging, human-delivered professional learning on problem-solving routines, we can then follow that up with custom-built AI tools capable of reinforcing those routines across all classrooms.

This personalizes learning for students while easing the implementation burden for educators.

AI doesn't replace coaching. It just scales it.

Our Track Record

We understand the context. Real classrooms. Real constraints. Complex needs. We're educators with 15+ years of experience helping systems improve at the intersection of evidence-based instruction and innovative education technology.

Rhode Island schools adopted rigorous materials, but students shut down when problems looked complex. Teachers gave away too much help.

We integrated thinking routines into their curriculum. Students learned how to approach any complex problem without shutting down.

Results:

  • 96% increase in breaking down complex problems
  • 67% increase in identifying what they know
  • Treatment students consistently outperformed control groups

"Students are more confident and self-directed. Perseverance and collaboration flourish." — Brooke Beach, Math Coach

We now co-design AI tools that teach these routines during lesson planning—scaling this support to every teacher.
