When students think,
students thrive
A majority of students use AI for schoolwork, yet 67% say it’s weakening their critical thinking.1 With only 18% of teachers holding actionable AI guidelines from their school or district2, Throughline Learning steps in to close the gap. We help K–12 leaders build clear guidance and equip teachers to put it into everyday practice. Together, we map your district’s conditions, pilot evidence-based strategies, and scale what works, so AI sharpens student thinking instead of replacing it.
Our Approach
We build a throughline
from your
strategic vision to daily
practice.
AI readiness isn't a single policy or a one-day training. We work across classrooms, schools, communities, and systems so your district's strategy and guidance show up in everyday teaching and keeps students doing the thinking.
Empowering
Classrooms
Design lessons that spark curiosity, where students do the thinking and AI plays a supporting role.
Responsive
Schools
Equip coaches and PLCs to test evidence-based strategies with AI, share what works, and grow together..
Engaged
Communities
Bring families and partners into the conversation so AI expectations match at home and at school.
Transformative
Systems
Map your conditions, set clear AI guidance, and scale what works district-wide.
Wherever you're starting, we can help you:
- Map what's working in your district today
- Build a strategic plan your team owns
- Grow stronger instructional leaders
- Write AI guidance that keeps students doing the thinking
- Design and pilot AI tools with your team
- Plan the support that makes new tools stick

How We Work
AI doesn't replace great teaching.
It helps scale it.
The real question isn't "Does AI work?" It's "Does AI help us do more of what works?" We co-design custom tools with educators that reinforce the evidence-based practices that drive student learning.
For 16 years, we’ve helped teachers shift the cognitive load to students through professional learning that connects instructional priorities with technology. AI is the next chapter of that same work.
Our Track Record
Real classrooms,
real constraints, and real results.
reported satisfaction with Throughline Learning services
of leaders reported feeling actively engaged in our services
of educators implemented at least one new strategy into their role
Teachers grew in their practice, and saw their students become stronger problem solvers.
Many students decide they aren’t a “math person” the moment a word problem stumps them. Over two school years, we worked with grades 2–5 teachers using the Eureka Math curriculum to change that. Teachers learned a simple thinking routine that helps students name where they’re stuck and back up their reasoning. With monthly PLC sessions and 1:1 coaching, teachers built the routine into their daily math lessons, and we compared their classrooms with similar classrooms that didn’t receive the support.
Share of students who consistently or independently…
- Persevere through challenges86% from 6%
- Share thinking using structured approaches92% from 13%
- Solve complex problems independently100% from 39%
89% vs. 67%. Treatment teachers were more likely than the control group to reflect on their practice often or very often.
More sessions, more growth. Teachers who attended more PL sessions rated their Eureka Math confidence, students’ problem solving, and perseverance significantly higher.
